Ok, TVR have faults, but they can get sorted and they have a much better 'personality' if you see what I mean.. they are real sports cars, as you saw on TG thrashed the german thingy..
The looks are to die for too..
And because TVR like to keep everything smooth and have a button presses to open the door etc, does that mean they haven't improved?
If you're buying a TVR you're going to know beforehand how to open it

It seems as though TG wants to slate TVR from the outset. They must've planned the getting in and out of the car prior to the show just to show it in a bad light and try to ridicule the car.
I'm sure he was purposely provoking it on that wet and icy track too.
Never heard of the wiper lifting off in any cars before nor the back window falling out if you open the side ones. Anyway what does Hammond know?
It just seems that they go out of their way to make TVRs look crap.
I bet they do the same sort of thing with the Sagaris.

I agree, they did seem to have a pre-show agenda.
So it's still twitchy on the relatively softly sprung Tuscan in the rain?, but the wipers lifting wasn't good, the ones on my Tam have never done that, nor has it once failed to start, and trying to get the back out is nigh on impossible unless really really provoked.
Perhaps there ought to be an option for a 'Cup' suspension pack, or similar.

The rear screen thing has been known to happen, and is preventable with a modified rear screen. Stuff like that happens to all sorts of cars (or worse in the case of "flipping" TTs)
Agree that they were out to slate it from the start. Although, to be fair, JC didn't say he didn't like it. He just described it as crude, unforgiving etc. etc. - All the stuff we all know, and like, about TVRs anyway.
Was more bothered by the stupid Roller article at the end - what was that all about?

If he had as much sense as money he would have bought a 67' GT40 instead of the GT.
I see the benefits of both cars, love the poise of the weissman, but love the balls of the tuscan... Id always prefer british heritage though.
I didnt think it was entirely bad for the tuscan all said.
