Do you know if you are able to to buy Monaro car covers either indoor ones or outdoor ones ?

I had a Fiat indoor one for my Punto that I used to put over the car when it sat in my garage after I washed it as the dust blows under the door & covers the car in dust :(

I want to take the car to Le Mans next year & really want a car cover for it as the dust is really bad & i don't people writing anthing on it as it will scratch the paint...

Any ideas ?

I haven't asked Vauxhall as I just thought of it & wondered if you lot knew.

Cheers

Thanks for the help.

Which one do I look under ?

http://search.ebay.co.uk/gto-car-cover_W0QQflocZ1QQfromZR10QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQfsprZ0QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQga10244Z10425QQsacatZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsojsZ1QQssPageNameZRC0021

These are all the ones I can find for the GTO...
But I'm not sure which one i will need as none of the pictures look like Monaro's.

If you are going to Goodwood festival of speed there is normaly a company there who can make one for you (might get a discount if they use yours as a pattern)

I will ask for you if you can't make it.................

It's not the same thing but when i visited my g/f in oz @ xmas i bought a sunshield thingy (what's the proper name?) to stop the interior being cooked while the car was parked in the sun, it was a cool Holden/Castrol racing Commodore design & if they're still available when i go in aug i'll try & fit 2 or 3 in my luggage on my return if anyone is interested, i think i paid about $25-$30. I'll post again when i find out more.

Rob, The LSV site doesn't detail their spares/parts etc. just give them a call & ask for Mark.

as promised I spoke to the guys selling covers at Goodwood and after some negotiation they have quoted club members these prices.

indoor cover £93 less discount (25%) = £69.75
heavy duty waterproof cover £168 less discount (25%) = £126
lightweight outside cover £108 less discount (25%) = £78.75

prices inc VAT and delivery is £8.23

For options look at www.classicadditions.co.uk

the covers look and feel very good, and this offer is not a group purchase so one off's are the same price.........

To get the club rate please email me and I will send on your details just so we know you are active in the club.

ps. the patterns have been made so they are ready for sale..................

Do they have a pattern for the HSV GTS ? I guess it's to rare in this country to bother, but now I'm probably going to be keeping the car & the Classics take our garage space, a cover would be nice. Guess Aus. companies supply them to fit.

I gave them a ring and he said they make custom ones where he comes out and measures up your car and that will cost £250 less a 15% club discount (may take 4 weeks to get made) for a indoor cover.............
