After a successful  with Don last night POTBIV is ready to roll. We decided to stick to tradition and go with the usual venue as all the amienities are there and once again we will be holding the annual Pitch & Putt competition. Look out for a web page soon to follow out lining timings and meeting points and I know Don is working on a cracking route from Basingstoke down to Hayling as usual.
I'll see if I can get it put in the calendar here but put Sunday 4th September as a date in the diary not to be missed.
Lets hope we get the weather - again - as we have not been let down yet and see if we can beat last years 53 cars.
Who's coming out to play?

Nice to see you last night, Mark. Yes - POTB4 is on. We've learned from last year's do and I've chosen a route that will take us to the Seven Stars again (I'm going to try and get them to open for us if I can...) as s staging area and then on to Hayling Island to our usual spot for the day. Web pages available shortly with timings, meeting points, descriptions, equipment recommendations and so on.

Last year half our posse did Dusty's B road blast - the other half just enjoyed the 272. Well I drove the 272 section last night from the M3 over to the Seven Stars and it is GOD'S OWN ROAD!

So we're going along that. No arguments.

Details to follow...and here they are: (Subject to any final changes, yet...)

www.dwmhughes.demon.co.uk/POTB4/pieonthebeach.htm

Delighted to hear that Bristol TVRCC will be represented. I'll send 'mail to the ROs in Hants and Wilts - and contact the PCGB ROs in the same areas.

Lets make this the best yet! See you there!

That's just fine AFAIC. The nice thing about POTB is that we get an intersting mix of marques along - makes having a nose at each other's cars so much more fun...

Bugger .... I'll be at Donington for See Red. No chance of moving the date? Say the 25th?

Can you ask Donington the same

The date clashes with a couple of other events but I'm afraid we just have to pick on and go with it. First Sunday in September is traditional now anyway.

Sorry mate, maybe next year?

Still expected in Poole at 09:00 on the Monday morning so seems stupid not to (have to miss BNG though ). I don't know if I will have a tiv or be in a hire car yet.
