Pubman, which one is the royal oak, is it the one on the green (opposite the pond) that some times has a bikers meet ?
Lots of us very locally, that used to have a run to pirbright from the M3 area.

Royal Oak is on the A324 Ash/Aldershot road half mile out of Pirbright - good pub with good size car park.

Interestingly it was a pub proposed as an alternative location for Surrey group to meet at - Pubman: may be worth contacting Andy/Theresa to discuss.

Pubman said it was a run TO the royal oak, so where from ? Or did he mean a meet at the Royal Oak

Either way any chance of a menu

An 'Autumnal' Meet! Count me in...Is this the pub we went to on the very-first-ever M3 Meet? It's on the green beside the pub where Andy's car set off someone else's car alarm??? Mind you, he did have the cans off

The pub by the green is now called The Moorhen prev The White Hart. Pubmans pub is on the Aldershot road - from The Moorhen (turn left out of pub car park) go past Lancaster Volvo garage and take the first right and you'll find it half a mile or so on the left just after a series of tight bends and a left hand turn. Too fast and you'll overshoot the car park.

Well we know where and when but not the route...over to you Pubman!

Hi Guys
Late posting, sorry for confusing anyone. Royal Oak is on the Aldershot Road. Not to be confused with the Moorhen or the Cricketers. Dec 8th is a meet, where you all turn up for for Sunday lunch and I cook it!! Publican/Chef. All TVR owners are welcome!! May even allow the odd foreign THINGGYY!!

Last year 14 Tuscans plus one Chimp attended (along with there owners). Was,nt aware of Pistonheads at that time so would assume an improved attendance this year. Will submit Menu in the next few days.
