Noble M15 arrives

£75K and 455bhp challenge the established supercars

Noble M15
Noble M15
At the 2004 British Motor Show, Noble treated as to a glimpse of the future with the unveiling of the M14. Eighteen months later - and having solicited lots of feedback from Noble fans - the company has today released full details of the new top end car, now named M15.

The £75K supercar is intended as more of a Grand Tourer than the more track focused M12s, but it still delivers crushing performance.

The same 3 litre V6 is used as in the M12s, but this time in a 455bhp state of tune. It also boasts a rupturing 455 lb/ft of torque. Noble claim 60mph will be reached in just 3.5 seconds. Top speed is geared for 185mph, although Noble are confident that it could reach 200mph.

The spaceframe chassis with integral rollcage is 57 per cent stiffer than the M12 and intensive development has ensured that the famed Noble handling on the limit is even better than before.

"We’re delighted with this new car’s all-round skills and the I reckon there’s not a car in its class to touch it dynamically," said Lee Noble today.

That looks realy nice mister Noble way better shapes then the older types, so a nice progress!
Hope that one day you also opt a V8 for your cars...though that V6 with 455ps? will do the trick I'm sure, but I love to see a V8 in your cars too...please...
Oh and I like the headlight design! also those lovely scoops on the side hope to see inside pictures soon! and from the rear...
I have seen it now on your website! its a big improvemend well done, I like it.
It even comes with two boots? spaces to for luggage? anyway way better and more useble for everyday when you like, also a much better interior on some points, I think that stearing wheel is whit airbag? the other without I like more but you can change to your own likings ofcorse, hope to see it soon in the flesh

i can't say that the styling on the piccies posted do the car any justice,

it looks like a bodykitted MR2, the sides and rear don't gel with the roofline. nothing seems to harmonise well.

it may well look a lot better in the flesh.

I love the front and the front 3/4. Not too sure about the back, though. It looks a bit messy.

looks nice, but not a patch on the M14 IMHO.

Regretfully I must agree with you. Doesn't matter how special it is underneath the bonnet, if it doesn't look right it won't get the success that the engineering deserves.

Underneath the bonnet, figuratively speaking of course.

I think it's hideous. Way too large front lamps, and a very messy allround design. No matter what power and performance it has, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on it.

I also prefer the M14, I especially dislike what they've done to the rear end of this new version, it looks a mess.

Sad, I was really really keen on the M14 at the last motorshow.

Totally new chassis (nothing is carried over from the M12).

Serious stuff

Coming to a Noble Dealer sometime soon.

It's very contemporary design - far more uptodate than the M14 was IMHO.

Including a new roof, window apertures and front screen? These all look very similar to the M12 to my untrained eye, and on the two photos I've overlaid.

The screen is heated so I'm thinking it has come from a ford as not that many companies use heated front screens?

From what I managed to badger out of Lee (and I was there for about 3 hours at the preview!), yep, totally new design.

Once you are inside you also realise that the A post is in a slightly different place (it seems to go further away from you where it meets the dash than the M12) and there is a greater feeling of width inside to me.

Also, given the steering lock, there is almost nothing similar underneath - if you tried to make a M12 have that much lock you'd have the wheel hitting the main chassis members!

Oh - I forgot, yes, the screen is new as it's heated (yippeee!)

i think the angle it is shot from is not one you would normally view it from. you would either be looking at from a similar height from another car of standing 3ft above roof line.....IMHO it looks better in the flesh....

slab sides are a little reminiscent of the Bugatti EB110 ... similar performance too ... but for 1/6th the price

I agree, it looks terrible in my opinion.

Noble clearly make superb cars but the design is so badly excecuted that it puts me off.(its exterior and its kit car interior)

I wish they would get some good designers in and give it the styling that the product deserves.
