Well the only comment I can make is your pockets will need to be deeper.

I have mine done at Autostrasse others I frequent with have theirs done at GT one, my bills are considerably smaller.

I've heard that they are very good. The guy who runs it is the 964 Guru for the PCGB. Not cheap though.

Very good but not that cheap. Their labour rate is about £50/hour. Whereabouts in Surrey are you? Camtune in Godalming are supposed to be good as well.

I've used GT-One for the last 4 years or so, for my 930 and 964RS. I can't fault their expertise, or their personal service. It's a small company, so in most cases either Peter or Craig (the directors) would personally work on cars.

I have thought that they are expensive. Do prices vary much between independents?

I've used them for my Boxster S and am a very happy customer. The guys are real enthusiasts and look after your car as if it were their own.

I've used GT One for all my 993TT servicing for a couple of years and have always been very happy with their work.

I was a bit disapponited with my GT One experience. They seemed too keen to sort out a windscreen that was making an occasional creak, replacing wiper blades that were less than a year old and pointing out a bit of missing interior trim (that I had at home) and never addressed the slight hesitation the car had. I went to the trouble of bringing the car to them one weekend before the service (120 mile round trip) so that we could roadtest it together and they could experience the hesitation themselves but during the service that never got looked at. A follow-up email to them was ignored. I voted with my feet...

Well, no one's perfect but they do seem to get it right most of the time.
