K1 are developing a removeable hardtop for their lush Attack...

This is my take on a new engine cover/bootlid to match.

I could be wrong here but I think the Attack predates them both?

More pics here.

Just need to get some opening door windows now and it could almost be usable day to day!

That would be me. Just wish I knew the answer to jitsukadave's question.

Dynamic Performance promised me about a year ago that I could drive it for PH after it had passed SVA and had a few test miles.

Contacted them on a daily basis about August last year when this was the case and was continually told we should be able to get something sorted out 'in a few days'. Finally got a date arranged, phoned day before to check it was still on and got told 'we'll have to get back to you' - but they never did. At that point I just gave up on them.

Did plan to speak to them at Stoneleigh this year but they weren't there. Maybe worth giving them another call to see if they've finally got their act together.

That worries me: If they don't have time for a test drive with publicity aimed at people that like cars attached, I can only see it meaning either they are genuinely so busy they don't have time or (more likely?) that the car isn't quite all that.

Hopefully it's the former, but the main reason I'm not taking the attack seriously is the lack of testing given to people that I rate.

I just assumed they had working windows, never really thought about that bit. Then again, they look more day-to-day useable than the Dare UK G4 windows and I'd have one of them

Are they still using the Honda power plant or have the UK folk also headed down the Ford route that I read about on the attack forums?

Its a shame such a stunning looking car doesnt have the marketing and support to back it up.

Fully-built cars from K1 have Ford power, kit form you can have either, and I guess if Dynamic Performance build it for you, you can have either too.

There is now an option to use Audi turbo power, which i think is massively exciting in such a stunning car.
