Replacement Tyres for M12's

Unfortunatly Bridgestone have stopped producing the S03's which were are standard tyres for all M12 cars (not M400)
We have tested other makes of tyres and have found that the Pirelli PZero Rosso tyres to be the most suitable for the cars everyday use.
These tyres are available from either the factory or your local dealer

Glad to see the factory back on here contributing useful info but I must say, I do miss the 'personal' touch that was offered by Simon Hucknall when he was there. Is there not any chance of the factory appointing someone to undertake Simon's role rather than the anonimity above? What would the rest of you prefer?

I think I remember that Nick Hall, a motoring journalist, took over from Simon as temporary press officer until a permanent place could be filled.

The TOYO R888's I use are fantastic, excellent griptrack based tyre, not bad wear, good in the wet (But not standing water) and best of all I can change them from rim to rim so get double the life on track days. The Corsas that I have are excellent but as most tracks are clockwise the outer edge of the nsr wears very quickly (new tyre)
Downside to the R888's is road noise compared to the corsa.

Blackcircles spoke to Pirelli on my behalf and were advised to fit Rosso directional on front and Rosso assymetrical on the rear. However, I was unable to source these tyres and Pirelli have them on backorder.
Elite Tyres in Reading did manage to source and fit S03s for me today :-)
2 months or so later I have managed to replace my tyres.

As you are declaring discontinuance of the original 2.5, 3.0 and 3R tyre brand and a move to Pirelli PZero Rosso please provide a definitive statement on which tyre type should be used - assuming there's more than one type?
Also, can we expect any driving, longevity and dynamic differences moving to this rubber?

Bridgestone have discontinued the SO3s' The pirelli trye specs are as follows
Front 225/40 ZR 18XL 92Y
Rear 265/35 ZR 18 93 N4
These are the closest match to the SO3's that we have tested. I will be able to post RRP tomorrow when its comes through from Pirelli. I know that these are hard to come by but i am assured from Pirelli that they can get them for us.

The old price a bit of a joke!? £800 for a front wheel is not a joke, IMHO, it's taking the p155!
The link below goes to the OZ site and shows 8x18 Superturismos (which I happen to like...a lot) for a Ford Mondeo (admittedly 5 spoke but 4 spoke should be cheaper to produce) for $265, so $530 for the front. I doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out they are a lot cheaper than the factory option, and they are O.Z's FFS!, not the chocolate wheels that are standard.
