I went to look at one in Southend when I had the Ult, it was quite good and used a lot of Cosworth parts incl the engine (in the rear of cause)... it looked really promising until the wife completely ruled it out as looking to 80's.
Sometimes marriage sucks.
ps if the wife reads this, I was only joking hounest

If you are interested I have a mercury RS200 for sale which is the same base as the Ka Ra 200 which was the origonal replica kit car using cosworth running gear. PM me for more information.
Will contact the guy who asked me the question in the first place then get back to you.
Is it in Pistonheads classified?
Steve
We ran a feature on a guy who used a Banham body on the floorpan of a Subaru Impreza, which is a terrific idea – a rally car based on a rally car. Of course, it's front engined and four-wheel drive, so not one for purists, but I love the concept nonetheless. He's now producing kits. E-mail me for his contact details if you're interested.

I think I have read somewhere that the original RS200 4x4 transfer case was by Ferguson, It is a shame that there is not a box out there that can replicate the setup using the same sort of engine layout.
Awsome car though,
PS. I believe the authentic type RS200 Kit was produced by www.rallysportreplicas.co.uk/ proper mid engine spaceframe along with supplying original replacement parts. The link is dead now so maybe they sold out.
I think there was another one called the Kara, which I beleive a few exist.
