Is there a serious kit for the RS200?
I mean something space-frame chassied and with the engine in the right place.

The word 'Banham' should not feature in any replay unless used to describe how wrong something could be.

Thanks
Steve

At the risk of incurring Steve's wrath...

That last one is a Banham, GTRene.
Worth noting that it's made from the original moulds...like all Banham RS200s.

I went to look at one in Southend when I had the Ult, it was quite good and used a lot of Cosworth parts incl the engine (in the rear of cause)... it looked really promising until the wife completely ruled it out as looking to 80's.
Sometimes marriage sucks.

ps if the wife reads this, I was only joking hounest

We ran a feature on a guy who used a Banham body on the floorpan of a Subaru Impreza, which is a terrific idea – a rally car based on a rally car. Of course, it's front engined and four-wheel drive, so not one for purists, but I love the concept nonetheless. He's now producing kits. E-mail me for his contact details if you're interested.

Adam.

I think I have read somewhere that the original RS200 4x4 transfer case was by Ferguson, It is a shame that there is not a box out there that can replicate the setup using the same sort of engine layout.

Awsome car though,

PS. I believe the authentic type RS200 Kit was produced by www.rallysportreplicas.co.uk/ proper mid engine spaceframe along with supplying original replacement parts. The link is dead now so maybe they sold out.
I think there was another one called the Kara, which I beleive a few exist.
