Ted / Mods, can you please set this up as a sticky
The London Rally will take place on Sunday 26th November, please put it in your diary now.
We are still working on the detail, but the day will include:
Several convoys from around the country to London.
Transport for factory workers, and families from Blackpool to London.
Meet in Central London at mid-day, meeing point to be confirmed.
Departing at roughly 13:00 a convoy through London, a route map will be provided at the meet point.
Petition presentation - along the lines of "Keep TVR British".
At approximately 15:00 we will regroup for a convoy to a hostelry for refreshments, before departing for home.
What we need:
Volunteers for worker and family passenger lifts from Blackpool to London
Volunteers from any coach owners to transport workers and families from Blackpool and back at "cost".(plenty of publicity available)
Volunteers for pasenger rides on the London drive through.
Get as amany signatures as possible for the petition - wording still being worked on.
Donations to help fund transport costs for workers and families. This will be entirely voluntary, but a suggested maximum will be declared once we have an idea of the number of attendees and likely transport costs, but in any event will not exceed £10.
Your enthusiastic attendance.
There are two key objectives for the rally:
To help maintain and further raise the profile of the factory closure, and associated job losses.
To hold the largest ever gathering of TVRs.
Guys, the Blackpool rally really did make a difference to the workers, come and meet them in London and ask then for yourself.
Can we keep this thread for messages and Q&A, i will open up another thread for you to register your attendance, and availability for passenger rides.

Updated arrangements will be made at the top of this thread, as and when they are finalised, to save people from having to search.
All sensible suggestions on how to make this a memorable day will be considered.
Final point, this needs to be a team effort. Several people have already offer their help in the organising, and that will be greatly appreciated You can make it happen
