I know that there was a thread about this recently, but theres a new video which shows a bit more. I heard it was some type of gangsters that had hired the car, not entirely sure what to think but here is the video anyway: http://video.google.com/videoplay?doc You can hear it crash on the video. They are bloody idiots and really should be thrown in prison for that sort of driving. And then for not even moving the damned thing and blocking the road is just crazyness.

Does anyone know where it was hired from? Perhaps that video should be forwarded to the rental company? They might be interested to see how the car was being driven on a public road?

w4ankers. That sounded like medium revs in 3rd gear - that's on it's way to 100mph, is it not? Absolute t ts and I hope they suffered appropriately.

How can you tell it was third? The speed looks more like second to me. A rough estimate that 640 will do, 55 in first? So 80ish in second? Probably more actually. I doubt it could be third. But then again could be wrong. I really am not getting anywhere here...

From listening....first thing you hear is car changing gear, so that's 1st into second, then as he goes past camera he changes again - though sounds like on medium throttle by that point as it would have shot on further. (this is all conjecture, I stress!)

What a bunch of weapons grade bell-ends. I hope the rental company nails them for as much as possible after seeing that...

On a hire car like that you'll typically see many 000's pound excesses (sometimes £20k or £30k)...again, I think it's worth saying....tw4ts.

you can see the guy holding his head that looks like he must have been driving, bet he's thinking of the £20-30k deposit they took off him on his credit card that he won't be getting back Like the way that 3 police cars, police van and horse all turn up to have a look

He only looked around 22-25. Complete and utter nose.

How about forward this to the SPL forum? Would be deeply satisfying to know that the cockstain of a driver had his licence revoked for this...... Of course, they are probably too busy chasing Mr average doing 33 in a 30 despite it previously being a 50....

Absolute ing arses. Could have side swiped a car going past the T junction or hit a pedestrian on the curb. they ban people for toting up points doing 80 on motorways. Bet nothing happened to this guy. Anyone know any more? Its not the rental place that needs this forwarding its the police that need to see it.
