To be unveiled on Monday:

I like it, but I don't see what's so revolutionary about it. Methinks Honda's new marketing guy has got ahead of himself in how good his idea actually is.

Still looks very cool though! thumbup

Odd, that url on the rear wing doesn't go anywhere....yet!

Plus I'll believe this when I see it...what is your source? They have other sponsor obligations other than Bridgestone.

Logistically, that is a nightmare. Change the nose cone halfway through a race and the UK might end up next to Australia!!

Brave move...if this isn't a marketing stunt for another event.

A picture of the planet. Brilliant. But what could it mean?

It'll look rubbish on telly and it'll look worse if it doesn't go very fast.

I reckon it'll look like demin from a distance.

Though, likely fake.

Apparently the URL belongs to a marketing company that belongs to Simon Fuller, Honda's new 'guru'.

Honda's excuses for 2007 retirements are being lined up.

Excuse number........
1) Engine overheated due to global warming.
2) Water damaged electrics due to rising sea levels on the sidepods.
3) Clutch burnt out due to the burning of the Brazilian rain forest.
4) Engine breathing problems due to depletion of the ozone layer in the airbox.
5) Cracked wishbones due to plate tectonic movement.

The pic was put up on the HondaF1 gallery but then taken off. Fortunately a fellow on another forum saved it and popped it up on imageshack.

No idea if it was an intentional leak or an accident!

Too much black bodywork left at the back anyway. Or is that supposed to signify "man's ultimate destruction of the earth through the burning of fossil fuels and eating curry". ?

It looks like failrly effective camouflage to me.

Do you think that the FIA stewrds might object on a visibility point?

Not a chance that they'll use that.

It would make the sponsor's logos practically invisible.

Its obviously just a promotional paintscheme.

Not a big problem when you barely have any sponsors to speak of.

BP have been long rumoured as new sponsors of Honda, and it would fit in with their whole happy-clappy "we are the world" marketing message. It would explain the nasty facial hair Jenson has been cultivating recently - he's been 'crusting up' for the team's new image.

From everything I've read of Honda's new livery, the picture posted above would seem to be correct. It's certainly different...
