Yay!!! Good to see an uber-kraut ego-trip penis extender get bent!

Sorry, but I have serious Bugatti issues. Megalomaniacal manoeuvring by VW executives wearing tight suits with too much aftershave has simply created a racing lorry, which is the antithesis of the light and nimble racing cars built by Ettore. It may be an automotive achievement, but it is not a Bugatti.

Looks like it might be a UK car judging by the yellow rear number plate (can't see if it's RHD) and UK style road signs. B 375 near Chertsey?

A shame that you feel that way.

beer

But no antithesis to Bugatti:

The Bugatti Type 41, better known as the Royale, is one of the most extreme luxury cars ever built. It was enormous, with a 4300 mm (169.3 in) wheelbase and 6.4 m (21 ft) overall length. It weighed approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb) and used a massive 12.7 L (12763 cc/778 in³ straight-8.

I think all of you people Veryon bashing need to leave PH now... if you don't even like this car a little then I can't see how you're petrol heads, and just for taking delight in someone crashing a car means I think you need to visit a morality workshop sharpish.

The thing has 8 Litres, 4 turbos and loads of power, regardless of weight, VW posing or anything else it's a great car.

I dunno, there's not that much damage and given the prices of them you'd have to do a hell of a lot to write one off!

Bit of T Cut (dont the PH rules say someone needs to say that when viewing an Ouch post?)

Wonder if they'll get a Micra or a Panda courtesy car?

Ignoring the damage for a second, I'm surprised that my initial reaction was one of boredom at seeing the Veyron shape. In the real world with mud and rain all over it, it really doesn't look that impressive does it? Some cars (rally specials but there are others) look great as they look in their element but this just looks like a fish out of water.

Where's the "Awww what a shame you bent your car, easily done, at least you're ok, hope you get it fixed soon" brigade now then?

(a) Some young lad tts his Nova, there's photos all over here and people queuing up to point and laugh and go "well that's another banger of the road then hahaha". Not to him it isn't.

(b) Some more mature person who has bought something only few can afford, tts it and we queue up to point and laugh and go "Rich tt, serves him right for showing off".

And the rest of us drive about getting worried about damage to our P&J, polishing it if somebody farts in its general direction, totally blind to the fact that most of the people in group (a) see us as members of group (b). It's all relative.

Regardless of what group you're in, a hypocrite is a hypocrite.

Bloody disgusting.
