56 reg Cerb?

this is interesting, just found this Cerb in the classifieds, www.pistonheads.com/sales/148292.htm a Cerb that appears to have 2 identities!
wonder why they have done this?

56??? I maybe wrong but would the late Cerb's still have to be recalled for the upright? Pic from their website link.

Well the VIN certainly says its a 2000MY VIN plate,

What was the official MY upright recalls applicable to btw was it early 96/7 cars only, or did it go on longer

X plate could be about right... would have the right headlights, pillars, etc. for that. Def. not a 56 plate - not with that many services for a start.

Most curious thing in my mind is the aerial on it!

Our 2000 MY LW 4.5 was recalled for the upright rectification and wor the same sticker.

Maybe is was registered on a private plate and haven't had the rear transparent one made up yet so stuck a spare on to fill the hole.

Just had a look on their website, they have 3 Monaro VXRs on there, but all the reg nos look photo shopped or am I being daft??

Going on the 10th and 11th digits of the VIN plate, this cerb was built in February 2000.
