As far as I know it's the same as the S series, which uses a Cortina rack and track rod ends. Don't know whether these are the same as the Sierra, they might be I guess.

Just fitted two to my 96 4.0 PAS
Q/H #QR1384S cost about £11 from my local motor factors,
got the part details from this post .
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=237473&hw=+%2Btrack+%2Brod

straight forward to fit, except the locking nuts were rusted needed plenty of easing oil
plus a wire brush to get them off,
and I used a socket to tighten up the nylock nut and couldn't get it tight, appeared that the replacement parts were to small, but when I used a spanner I could see that the shaft was turning
with the nut, used a pair of stilsons to put some tension on the track rod end and that allowed me to tighten up the nut.

Phil

edited to add just ignore the tips above, I see you have a garage and may have fitted one or two track rod ends in your time.
