Simple question.

Just interested on things like minimum age, deposits, and cost of a 2007 Corvette.

Just fancy getting one for a few days when I eventually visit my relatives in California.

Just check out Hertz.com at LAX they do 'Vettes. Think they are $1000 a week, extra insurance needed if you are under 25.
Also they are limited mileage too 100 a day 39 cents a mile extra.

Most rental companies in the US do 'Vettes. They are common as Mondeos over here

Thanks for that Steve, I just had a look myself and can rent a Corvette convertible for 1600 pounds for a whole month, but that doesn't include the young drivers additional charge which is an extra 40 quid a day.

I don't know when I'll be going it was just something I was thinking about.

I also noticed that San Diego Airport don't have Corvettes, but LAX do.

And the biggest thing for me is that its an automatic!!! I hate automatics in sports cars.

Yup, that is sooo true. Sort of takes away anything special about them. I think I'd rather have a blast in one of those weird looking Chrysler Prowlers, or the Chevy SSR.
