Dyno testing is complete. It hit the street today, it will be terrorizing Europe shortly as we're shipping it out Monday or Tuesday. Nearly crapped my pants driving it! I'll post some pics in a few days. At low boost it made over 800 lbs ft from 3000-6000 rpm. Absolutely sick.

Geof, what modifications, if any, have you carried out on the transmission?

1011! Oh that IS sick. I'm glad that project is done now Jeff. Hopefully, with that project out of the way, now you can focus on the LS7 headers for those of us that bought stock LS7's :-)))))))

Its all fun,

Paul

And err.. 'sick' is good yeah?

In the UK (the home of the LS7 ) sick means - hurl

"Sick", as in what sick mind created this monster (Jeff). Yes, it's good in a most sarcastic way. Next stop, 2,000 HP?

Beautiful engine bay. If I had one, this is a setup I would go for. What kind of turbos did you use for the turbo setup?

Coming from someone who used to race motorcycles, that is crazy! Nice work Jeff!

Are we to deduce from this statement Jeff that you are a keen 'Commando' exponant? hehe

Precision Turbo tweaked, Garrett GT 35 series due to space constraints of the Can Am.
Thanks

Did you machine the headers yourself to attach to the LS7? Very clean look. What kind of intercooler is that? Did you modify the internals of the engine at all, maybe lower compression pistons? If you did build the headers to attach to the LS7 and the turbos, would you offer this as a kit at a later date? I would be interested in doing a very similar setup but would like to do the installment myself since I am well versed in turbo engines. I know I'm asking a million questions, but that looks to be a quality build as it seems you spared no expense. Is that a GT35 dual ball bearing?

great work!

Gt35's will be insane and should, size wise, work really well with the LS7. how tight is it under there????

Chris.

PS was that on pump fuel????????

Being that the engine is 7 liters, given enough room in the engine bay, I'm sure he could have a fit a bit larger then GT35s. Could you imagine twin GT42s? GT35s are the perfect size for this application I think.

i think GT42s would be well overkill for the ultima! but pretty insane. lol

nelson racing only use T72's for their 1500bhp 427 (7ltr)engines! i have heard of some corvette guys running 427's with T76's (with BB cores) and getting full boost around 4K!

also worth noting that APS are using a verison of the GT35 for there Z06 twin turbo kit (the car the LS7 come from).

thanks Chris.
