i went to see this last night with some mates, despite getting in as a student (i'm not one) so it only cost me £4 it was the biggest waste of time and money ever!!!

please, please, please, i beg you... don't go see this film!!!

its almost as implausable as the scene in Terminator 3 where he has a coffin in one hand and a machine gun in another!!!

save your money, don't see it!!!

ah but you paid to see this

we went for nowt and its amazing how much more enjoyable it is when its a freebee

the smoking tyres in the CP when we left was a jolly jaunt too

Cars left one at a time with the tyres leaving big black lines

Rozza wins the biggest line and Darren (Hgte Tus)wins the "I frightened the manager into thinking Im out of control" prize

Good turn out - tara

The first one was rubbish too!
Tacky looking orange supra with stickers free from Kellogs up the side and a naff looking bright green Mitsubishi Eclipse, not to mention the VW jetta!!!

The other thing that makes me cringe is that all the 17yr olds I know now want "NOS" in their cars!
Its Nitrous Oxide Injection for christs sake! NOS is a brand name!!!!
The fact that the UK website for 2fast 2furious is on the max power website says it all really!

Still Crap Still Boringus - knew I wouldn't be interested as soon as I saw the trailer - crushed Mustangs, bodykitted Jap crap and moronic thumping 'music' signaled from a long way off that this was one for the maxers.
WE NEED A PH-ORIENTATED MOVIE!

But are you referring to 2F2F or Le Mans?

fair enough the film might be crap but why do people have to call all the 'boy racers' who may like 'max power'? alot of people cant afford a lotus or a noble, etc, so there just makin the most of there cars whether its a nova, escort or whatever! why shouldnt they enjoy their cars too?

It's not that you shouldn't enjoy your car. Driving should be fun, whatever you drive.

Most of it stems from how funny people look when they are trying to look cool and are obviousley trying to draw attention to themselves whilst driving an ordinary everyday common car with stick on plastic gimmick bumpers and spoilers and a Big bore exhaust to make the engine sound beefier than it really is.
Surely you can understand how silly they look and how other people find it amusing that some people would rather spend thousands altering a cheap car than buying a decent car?

It's not meant to be malicious it's just a bit of a laugh at their expense.

5 spotty teenagers fresh out of school wearing burbery caps crammed into a little max'd nova trying to look 'ard just seems to tickle most people.
They are usually trying to show off to young girls mostly. Perfectly natural thing in addolesence. Most girls over 16 don't really give a damn' how much your front splitter cost etc though, so it's pretty much a fruitless excersise. It can be dangerous too when pepole of a young age (inexperienced) think that they are great drivers and their car is worthy of high speed driving. Not all are like this. I certainly wasn't, but max power culture does seem to encourage bad driving (even though max power denies it). Those cruises where people do burnouts etc are dangerous.
You can tell that most max power boys are fresh out of L-plates too.
It all seems a bit like typical Teen rebellion against authority. All rather childish really!

I went to see it the other day, and I can't decide about it, I dont like it but I dont hate it at the same time, its a hard one for me to explain. I went along with a totally open mind and new it would be more like Fantasia than a realistic car movie and in that respect can't say I absolutely hated it...its just another film, I won't be watching it again, or at least not till I forget how far fetched it was but then it takes a great film to get me to watch it again and again.

I can see this film causing all sorts of problems though. I made a point of driving VERY carefully away from it and saw plenty of idiotic driving, it has to be expected I think, however I saw no police about whats so ever and think a little precense would have gone a long way in this occssion, I was at a rather early showing and did note that there was a heavier showing from them later.

This is not the only thing that will cause problems IMO though, In the first one it was 1/4 mile action which at least (possibly) made people think about going to the track but in this one it brings in the whole drifting thing...I hope their isn't a lot of copy cats out there, for their own sakes as much as ours!

please don't let this get into another debate about modifying...

because many people fail to realise the difference between modifiers (ie people who make the car better/faster/nicer) and rude boys who spend their entire pocket money in halfords each week buying yet another spoiler to stick on...

theres a difference between the two so don't get them confused!!!

Ok, Sorry. I can't be arsed with another debate on modifying either, so I'll shut up about it.
