Sir Anthony Bamford or possibly Tom Wheatcroft who owns Donnington Park:
The Donington Grand Prix Collection houses the largest collection of McLaren racing cars in the world, and the only complete collection of Vanwalls. Notable exhibits include the 1936 twin engined 500 bhp Alfa Romeo Bimotore which has a top speed of 200mph, Jim Clark's World Championship winning Lotus 25, the 'howling' flat 12 Ferrari 312B, and Stirling Moss's Lotus, in which he defeated the might of the Ferrari works team in the 1961 Monaco Grand Prix.

I'd heard Tom had sold the circuit along with the grand prix collection. The Donington Grand Prix Collection houses the largest collection of McLaren racing cars in the world, and the only complete collection of Vanwalls. Bernie Ecclestone and his collection, The guy who helped found the Carphone Warehouse...not Dunstone. Also one of the Virgin founders who has a Bristol and finally the mad Lord in Yorkshire who features in Evo!! Ron dennis has some pretty amazing cars down in Woking, including a Tango F1 McLaren and also a TAG Porsche Engined 930 with over 600 bhp!!! He also has over 60 F1 cars all ready to drive if he feel so inclined!!
In the US look no further than the guitarist from ZZ Top Billy Gibbons, who has some wild hotrods and a number of classic Ferrari's. Jay Leno and his hanger full of cars and Ralph Lauren who has possibly the most exquisit colletion of hand built concourse cars on planet earth!
In Asia it has to be the Sultan of Brunei who has a number of everything including over 50 unique Rolls Royces and many more Astons and Bentleys.

Seconded about the Sultan, but I heard (a long time ago) that Billy Gibbons has a lot of 'undocumented' cars in his collection, which alledgedly put Jay Leno to shame. In Asia it has to be the Sultan of Brunei who has a number of everything including over 50 unique Rolls Royces and many more Astons and Bentleys.

JK from Jamiriquai.
JK has a very interesting collection of cars the majority of which are not supercars (although a lot are) like a true petrolhead it appears that he is as interested in picking up mint examples of 1970's Alfas and 1980's beemers as he is getting hold of the latest Lambo. For that I take my hat off to him. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
