I like Steve's B&W girl, and blonde's daughter is a really well taken shot too.

pbsaxman - 700pixels is the recommended width...but IMHO it's fine as-is. If you've a link to the full-size version we could look at, as I'm trying to work out if the pic is ever-so-slightly soft or if it's the resizing that's done it (often is). But composition is very good...

Thanks for that. I think the pic is slightly soft cos of Photobucket and me playing with the sizing. I also think the actual image focus is ever so slightly on the wrong part of the bird!! But hey ho live and learn!!

Here's the place to run your photos past folks if you can't choose or wonder if some tweaking is in order.

If you're sure about your entry stick it straight in the entries thread...
