Has anyone had a 3.0 on a dyno, if so what sort of bhp figure have you seen?
Loads have, very few make standard power, though one or two have.Mine with blocked/knackered cats was 285bhp, with cats sorted and a couple of other bits...392bhp.

Dyno's can be very mis-leading so dont take the quoted figures as gospel. Gadge im sure will explain more but I have seen 50 bhp difference in my wheel power alone never mind the calculations to flywheel power !

My GTO3 2 weeks ago with no mods - 356bhp, 340lb torque.
Getting it upped to around 420-430 in the next couple of weeks.
Mortgage can wait a little longer
.
Bet that was at JNM RR. Getting it upped to around 420-430 in the next couple of weeks.
Mortgage can wait a little longer
.Can I ask what they are doing to get it to that fig?
Alex
My last motor, an Esprit V8, is support to be 350. I changed the exhuast to straight pipes, had sports cats fitted and put K&N filters on it and a local RR measured it at 425. 75 extra ponies for those mods, hmm, I think a lot of places give you a higher reading to make you feel happier.
