Last Mini Cooper For Sale
The final Mini Cooper Works S could be yours for £22K
The last original Mini Cooper Works S ever built is to go on sale at auction.
The 2000 car is expected to fetch up to £22,000 at the Coys ‘Brands Hatch’ sale and it was initially sold by John Cooper himself.
At the time it was parked next to his personal Mini, the famous MY 5UN, outside the office and originally cost over £23,000.
The last 500 Coopers had a silver/grey roof panel and bonnet stripes, but this particular car had them painted on rather than being decals.
The interior is red leather and the dashboard is engine-turned aluminium.
There is a quick-shift gearbox and the fast road spec engine is protected by an alloy sump guard.
The car has just 7,000 miles on it and loads of history, including a letter signed by Mike Cooper certifying it is the last of the line.
Estimate is between £16,000 and £22,000 and the sale takes place on May 25th.
£22k thats alot of money. But i guess it was the end of an era for a car that IMO pretty much rewrote the rulebook on motoring for normal folk back in '59

with full additional option (only on the engine handling parts)
10 000 euro (cheaper than the UK price)
But in France, the year was 2000 and not 2001. My modele was produice in October 2000 (during the last month of production i thinks)
so perhaps it was
M1 FUN or
H15 FUN
I thought the last car was red and was held at BHM?
