Thats heading towards Caterham country (550kg)!!!
i have some photographs of what look to be two TVR prototypes taken a couple of days ago in southern europe.one is a car the other is a motorbike.the car looks to be well under 1000kg.difficult to say what engine was in it.paintwork looked to be the old cherry pearl TVR colour.i can't tell you much about the motorbike or its engine as i am not a biker.both were wearing TVR plates,the car if i remember correctly was on TVR 10 or TVR 100 i think,i haven't the photos with me at the moment as they are on my girlfriends camera who is in Japan at the moment but is due back at the weekend.if i can get her to email them to me i will post them asap otherwise bear with me till the weekend.any questions in the meantime feel free to ask and i will try and answer them.

No he doesn't. He expressed interest in buying Benelli, until the Italian government called a halt to the proceedings. NS wanted to shift Benelli production to Blackpool, thus killing Italian jobs. That's a no no in Italy. Instead, the Chinese bought Benelli. Production remains in Italy, but 90% of manufacture is Chinese. So if you fancy a good Chinese motorcycle, if there exists such a thing, buy an Italian built one - Benelli.Don't know if anyone saw it when this was topical, MCN comissioned bike designer, and ex TVR employee Glynn Kerr, to pen an imaginary TVR motorcycle. I contacted Glynn an purchased copies of his TVR Streetfighter and TVR Superbike prints. I really liked Glynn's Streefighter concept. If only..........

a bit of a close one
That photo of the bike doesn't look like a prototype to me. It looks distinctly "home made" in fact! The engine is the old Rover unit and I think it's more likely that someone might have got hold of an old TVR (Rover) engine and plopped it into a bike frame. Is it just me or is there a TVR logo on the bonnet of the silver car behind it too?

That is a saab 9000 behind - I think you're right about the TVR badge- at least the R seems to be in the TVR style - that car also has weird wing mirror extensions - 
maybe it tows things like the bike?
