Can any of you lot help , I want to run my xl 185 without lights indicators etc on a daylight only mot .Will I still need a battery for ignition or can I run it direct ..off the alternator ,if it will run direct any ideas re wiring layout? Bike is a 1981 twinshock .Thanks

it will run no problem with no battery ,the battery only powers the horn,brake light and indicators on the xl .
