as the title states will be leaving in the last week of august for a few days off drinking clubbing you know the drill

how much spending money to take though?

£100? will this keep me entertained for 2 nights and buy me food for 3 days?

You will need a little more than £100 from my experience of Hamsterjam.

I would be budgeting about twice that for a quiet couple of days, if it is a boys trip with clubbing more.

Where's that piece of stringwink

In short, no. If you want to really enjoy yourself, then £100 is no-where near enough (it only buys you about €120 or so at the moment.)

There is also the added point that once you have had some ale, cakes and spliffs seem tempting, then the ladies waving out of the windows may entice you to sample their wares and your £100 is gone before you have even had some lunch on day 1. hehe

About 3-4 euros for a chunky mo-fo.

The women aren't cheap though!

not interested in spending money on the woman just go have a few "chunky mo-fos" then hit the town I won't be needing alcohol either.

Do you have to pay to get into many places there?

As with all spending forecasts you need a budget so here we go:

Beers 10 big ones per day €7 each €210
Funny "tabacco" quarter a day €75
Coke half a day €150
Food pack of crips €3
Clubs €100
Champagne in club €300
Hookers 2 a day €360
Culture (sex museum) €20
Muggings €200 (depends on how early you get mugged)
Bail €3000

€4418 or £3485

If you plan to go to dammers with less than a grand don't bother. £100!!

I usually spend about that on a night out in town! Let alone 3 days going out abroad!

Which 'woman' were you thinking of? There is more than one there.

Have you had any 'chunky mo-fos' before? 'Hitting the town' may prove a bit difficult afterwards.

I plan to do this or similar for my 21st in october.

Sounds good fun though, I will be taking about 5-600 quid I guess.

The flights are very cheap though.

As an aside, do you think there is a better europe location for this kind of break? Or is Amsterdam the benchmark?

You have to pay to get into nightclubs and strip bars, you will probably not be looked at favourably if not buying drinks in bars (european staff work on tips to top up wages).

I would suggest not getting too wasted on the sticky green as it will screw up your nights over there.

Can you really say you won't be tempted by a visit to one of the women? I have seen lots of guys that have said that until faced with the prospect of a fit girl that does whatever you want for a handful of euro's.

Copenhagen

not the kind of place you go solely to ruin yourself but IMO a much nicer city, better beers and fitter women

draw is just as easy to get hold of if you really want it

Even doing it el cheapo you probably want to budget a few hundred quid I'm afraid. You could always save money by yumming down a big cake or a fistful of mushrooms; you won't be spending anything else for a good 4 or 5 hours.
Amsterdam is a great place. The red light district is particulary surreal - the mix of 'normal' tourists, heavily wasted tourists, hookers and obvious career criminals doesn't really exist anywhere else in quite the same way.
