Been toying with the idea of moving on to my next motor. Unfortunately that means selling the Nob as there's no way I could afford both.

Then this morning the other half was in bed after getting in from Nights so I thought I'd go for a very early morning Bank Holiday hoon through the KENT countryside.

The weather was great as the Sun was out and the car was an absolute hoot. A 2 hour drive later (And a full English brekkie, lol) and I'm in two minds again as to whether to move on. Bloody hell Nobles are fun. I had been out in it all weekend but was with the other half so couldn't open the taps fully. But when you do, boy it's a laugh!!

Once you find something that's half as much fun to drive, let me know!

Stay,
I have had a gutfull of my F430, Too big too heavy too expensive too much worry when you leave it parked up.(nice car apart from that).
I'm looking at Ultima / Honda Exige (400 BHP lick) or even back to a Noble.

Thanks for the advice guys.

FC how can you have a gut full of something that sounds so sweet?

The old girl is certainly a hoot. Also you never get used to the amount of attention it gets when you are out, the camera phones constantly popping up, although slightly unwanted in some situations, lol.

Don't get me wrong I love the car and the soundtrack but I just don't get the same grin factor out of the Fezza that I did out of the Noble.
I think people expect you to whizz off into the distance in the Fezza but in the Noble most people didn't have a clue, I just don't have all the EVO and Imprezza Crowd et.al. trying to blow me away and then being left humiliated in my dust hehe

I have to say that since I,ve had my car which is just a couple of months now I,m blown away by the attention it gets and even more amazing how positive it is.
My car has the nose badge missing and I've got to a point now that I sit in the local coffee bar park the car outside just to see how many people will walk around the back of the car trying to find out what it is.
I've had Lotus's Tiv's Porsche's and none of them look as good or drive as well as the Noble, don't know what I'll go for next infact. Maybe M400 but don't tell my Mrs I've even thought about it!.

Ever since I've owned a car ( i.e. for the last 19 years ) all I've ever heard is "The car market is on it's arse at the moment". Has there ever been a time when it's not been "on it's arse" ?

I would agree ,problem is us Brits have made an artform out of looking at the down side of everything.

lol, to be fair it is more on its arse at the moment than anytime since I started paying proper attention!

All buyers will say the market is on its arse. All sellers will be optimists. People in-between talk about the differential between the two views biggrin

To be honest it's the reason I still have the M400 rather than a 430 as my permanant fun car.

Still like taking out the ecurie one though biggrin

I have watched M12 values crumble recently but as with all things the market will pick up and supply will be limited. Everything is cyclical.

As the car is with the dealer on SOR I am seriously tempted to hold onto the car and wait it out.

Why the worry... I'd say Noble depreciation was on par with a Porsche rather than say a Vauxhall, surelly thats actually really good?

Er, a GT2, honestly.

I have had an M12 and an M400.

It is s different drive so not easy to compare.

I can this, it is no better or worse, just different.

And before anyone says that it is just another piece of Pork, it is, but it is a GT2, not just any Pork.
