Went to Castle Combe today as Dean was doing a trackday. As you can imagine is was soaking, dean was pushing hard and dong very well, it started to dry a bit and speeds increased and then.....

The score marks are from the screws that hold the sheeting to the tyres (if they had used some kind of plastic arrangement like cable ties it may not of been so bad).
Note the new wing design.
Don't worry dean, an excuse for a new colour
Here is the rear cam view, will edit front camera with rear next week.

Martin, sorry to see that but from the look of the pics, it looks like the bodywork should be easy enough to fix up and maybe a new wing would give your car a little more originality?

Not sure if you have someone to do the work but these guys come highly recommended.

Colin, My car was tucked up safely in the paddock, I was in the car with Dean. We have spoke about him getting that wing so thanks for the link.
YWe went out again and the car was fine its all cosmetic.
Dean was on 888's and at that point the track was starting to clear and speeds picking up. I have to say that when it was soaked Dean was controlling the car brilliantly and I was well impressed. The speed he was able to do in the wet was probably what I would do in the dry LOL.

Yeah there seems to be a few good body shops about. My recent damage to the front and a whole front respray was 500+vat and they will spray the whole car for 2300 inc vat. Also the shop alex is using is priced similar.
As we discussed this could be the right time to change the colour!

Unlucky Dean. Braver man than me (although that's not particularly hard).
As Martin said time for a 'unique' and wing (Lakelord) maybe.
To concur with others 'Get well soon'.
I've just got the money through from the fab person that hit me (and then drove off) on the way to Brunters the other week.

Not sure Gadge.. robbed the pics from this thread http://www.nobleforums.com/showthread.php?t=2813&a... on Nobleforums.
Thanks for the get well soons.
Got away with it pretty lightly to be fair, Quarry corner is never a good place to have a prang. iirc i was approaching it at about 120mph in the wet but managed to get most of the speed off before the lock up occured. once i was on the wet grass it was game over. still, at least it was nothing Bondy's duct tape couldn't fix and we managed to bandage her up and get out there again
.
Pretty sure that i am going to go for that rear wing (this is the one we talked about on friday Bondy), always been a fan of it on Pinnacle's car.....and maybe a respray will be in order too if i have the pennies.....dont worry Simon, i wont copy the colour you're thinking about
Martin told me the way you're thinking of going on Friday....or maybe i should leave it as it is, gives it character doesnt it Bondy

Don't know if you've ever considered a wrap instead of a paint job. Something I've thought of doing to promote my business. Trouble is, I run a bathroom refurb company and a bog printed on the side wouldn't look so hot!
Have a look at some of the galleries at www.raccoon.co.uk/gallery.php particularly the gumball 3000 pics. The wraps can be removed any time plus the paint you can't get to on a re spray will always match the rest of the car.
