Removing Fiesta Steering Wheel
Discussion
first thing take the keys out of the ignition, then disconnect the battery. now you are safe, they should be two torx screws holding the airbag unit it situe at the back of the wheel, remove these and remove the airbag taking note how the plastic stuff behind is seated, then just remove the big nut and it should come off, altough you might have to put the key in the ignition to take the steering lock off to get the wheel off,
hope this helps

When you undo the big nut do NOT take it right off.
Loosen it so there is a gap between it and the wheel.
Then hold the wheel top and bottom and pull it in a rocking motion.
The wheel may be sticky on the shaft,
By leaving the nut on you prevent yourself from smacking yourself in the head when it finally comes off.
Once it is loose undo the nut and carry on.
I have seen several guys pulling like hell and then get a smack when the wheel fimally pops off.
