Stolen GT3 With cup engine

I was out with a friend yesterday, who has a one off, very lairy, 996 GT3 race car, with a cup engine, huge carbon fibre wing, race seats, four point harnesses, and is in fly yellow. It has twin exhausts exiting from the middle, and is one of the loudest cars I have ever heard on the road. The reg is V8RJL. After a good day out with the Diablo and the Porsche, he stayed at my place in Datchet,near Windsor. His alarm woke me up at about 3am, so I went out to check. The car's lights were flashing, then reset. I thought it was probably the wind/rain, and thought nothing of it. This morning, I went out and the Porsche was gone, and there was glass on the pavement, from the broken drivers window. It was obviously towed, or lifted, as the noise from the engine cannot be missed. My mate is obviously gutted. I don't know any Porsche forums, but if anyone does, could they please pass the word, and if it is offered, or any related parts are offered, please get in touch.

That's Richard Longs' old car, a Paragon converted GT3R bodied mk1 GT3 in Speed Yellow - wide arched, big winged and big bumpered and as the OP said very loud. The car used to be a running reporter in 911 Porsche World mag.

Wont be hard to spot, the only one I have ever seen on the road in the UK.

Sorry to hear the bad news, hope the beast gets found / returned asap and as undamaged as poss and the b@stards get whats coming.

I am pretty sure i saw that car heading north on the A3 this weekend, up by the Robin Hood roundabout... Sunday, 2pm-ish? I assume that was your friend?

It could have been another car but the yellow body and huge carbon rear wing was an indication of it being something special!

Sadly, the world is full of scum! I guess it will be exported to Russia!
