Chaps,

For the next week / month or so it will be a regular thing for people to be letting left over new year fireworks off, from around tea time till midnight. Its getting on my fking tits.

The option is to nuke them from orbit.

I'd like to wait until its a school night some time mid march maybe when they won't expect it, then I'll set it off at about 3am.

It needs to be very loud but also available for purchase.

Thanks

Titanium Salute - loudest you can get : http://www.fireworkstore.co.uk/fwstore/product.php...

But all fireworks are illegal after 11pm except for certain dates...

Just search any online firework store for "Titanium Salute"

Ideally it would just make a noise, I don't want everyone coming to their windows seeing st loads of sparks going off in the garden.

Defo wussy these days.

Original T/F, primed and a tin hat laid over it. Don't be around when tin hat lands.......

Thundeflashes were one of the most misused piece of Army Equipment, second only to WRACs.

The loudest consumer firework (cat 3) is now limited to 120db. Many shops will say they are selling the 'loudest firework available' but to be honest many of them that cater to the noise end of the market are very similar.

ETA: As you just want a single 'bang' your best bet are agricultural bird scarers.

Half-buried scaffold poles on Leek training area, chuck down T-Flash followed by potatoes - great fun...

Used these on the farm -

SkyBirds- (Bird Control for Waste Management and Farming)

The original Big Bang! Skybirds are a loud rocket type bird scarer, which finish in a loud report. Used to shoot up into a circling flock, it will drive the birds away. If a flock are lower or on the tip face, use the Pro-Shot Multi shot rocket first to lift the birds, followed by the SkyBird to drive the gulls away.

You sound like you need to get hold of a maroon rocket. No idea where to get one, but I guess that's what you'll be needing. Perhaps try a yacht shop (chandlers).

ETA;

Just make sure you're inland, or you'll cause hell with the lifeboat!
