Evening all,

You can't deny that the Porsche 911 is a great car and still holds it's own, so let's have a picture tribute to it.

It doesn't have to be the 993

Do what you want, just do it elsewhere and stop wasting bandwidth .... and air! wink

Old clean and pretty

Puppy fat and potent

Dr David Banner trying to escape from his bodywork - All time fave.

Top of the lottery list. Not the RS, just the normal GT3 so I can use it more often.

Belongs in the Porsche forum, as much as I'd love a 993 or 968 Club Sport, this thread would be better elsewhere ...

A few lesser knowns -

935/77 'Baby' 1.4 litre 750kg 370BHP - developed for the under 2000cc class of the German Sports Racing Championship

911R. First factory lightweight version - 800KG, 210BHP

911SC RS. Developed by Porsche and Prodrive, and homologated for rallying as a stop gap till the 959 arrived.

Nah, there's plenty of us who like them who don't read the Porsche section on a regular basis!

As for ultegra - why click on the link? rolleyes

First post summed it up - 993 turbo cloud9

Also have a soft spot for the 3.2 Carrera and 80s turbo lick

This is lovely:

Shame they've been getting fatter and uglier with every generation since then.

I must have been distracted in the lesson that taught that irony only works on the intelligent..........

FFS, this should be a little more creative than I like blah blah blah, lets all put pictures of blah blah blah on here.

And you speak about bandwidth?????

Just my 2p.

I'd love a 3.8 RS, but yeah you're right.
For instance, the "Chicks with Vipers" thread in the Vipers forum is perfect there.

Hey, how about "Chicks with Porkers" in the Porsche forum?

Aye carumba!

I love it how these threads always turn into nothing more than an excuse to post pictures of hot (usually) women.

No, really, that's not sarcasm. Add a 911 into the mix and we're cooking with gas.

Only raced twice, on the 2nd occasion Ickx walked away from the largely Ford and BMW field at around 2 seconds a lap

Point proven, the car was retired to the museum.

Apparently created partly because German televisdion said they would only cover the up to 2 litre category at the Norisring race as watching 935s win every race in the big class was boring
