Gallardo Exhaust Valve/Vacuum?
Discussion
Yes it can be left open.... involves removing the 2 vacuum pipes from the bypass and pluggin them closed.... then valve left open .... can cause engine lights to come on on earlier cars but dont seem to be nay probs on post 06 spec cars..... and its loud ....spits pops burbles on overrun and flames on upchanges - awesome ;-) takes about 30 mins to do ....

Ok thanks, and is it reversable? I presume if I try it, dont like it, I can simply fit the hose back on?
Is there a simple way to do it?
If it`s an 06 car, remove the large middle grill at the back, pull 2 thin rubber pipes off the metal tee peice.... job done, doesn`t sound as good as de cat tubi though Is there a simple way to do it?

assume it is similar in concept to the Porsche sports exhaust so you should be able to unplug electrical connection without any problems as this only controls actuation of valves (i assume?)
Yes, but most ECUs these days use protected high sided drivers as output devices as they are short circuit proof and have a status line which enables the ECU to know if they are shorted, open circuit etc.If you disconnect the solenoid the ecu knows it has no load connected and often reports an fault code.
