New Cobra on the stand in Detroit

I'll try and get a few more pictures later if people are interested, couldn't get any closer at the moment because there is a film crew shooting there.

Shame they are using the "cobra" brand for something visually more akin to an SLK/S2000...

Cheers,
Matt.

Looks like Ford are attempting to reverse their finances by making cars that petrolheads will drool over, instead of making yet another Focus variant.
Bravo Ford but how about a right hand drive version??

Undecided on the styling.

Just like an Audi A2 but in this you will not care as you will be going so fast no one will dare get in the way...

Has anyone else noticed that the faster you drive the less hassle you seem to have, when I had my Scoob I never had any near misses or moments, now I have been relegated to the wifes Ibiza I have countless run-ins with numpties and close shaves with trucks.

It looks a bit heavy to me. Might just be the design but I'm fearing this isn't a lightweight sports car.

I think it's quite cool, but will they make it???

It looks sad, it's got an unhappy face & un-friendly headreasts come accident time

The figures quoted are:

3075lbs (approx 1150Kg)
6.4 litre V10 (!!)
BHP: 605 bhp @ 6750 rpm
Torque: 501 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm

Yeah, that's going to be a bit fast then, what with 525bhp/tonne and all.

A bit under 1700kgs means 359bhp/tonne...
