PCH deals still worth it?

Whats the opinion on personal contract hire deals these days? Ive noticed a lack of bargin deals but am quite tempted with this?

Im a private user and have never bought a car this way, whats the pro's and con's?

Worth it if your the sort that buys a brand new car every 2/3 years on the dot, and you have good credit rating etc. You are effectively just paying for the depreciation of the car, so tends to work better on cars that hold there value well.
Best deals are generally at the end of the year. Its worth waiting until something really good comes along, and not been too fussy on what car you get.
In the past I've seen some outstanding deals on cars that have at the time just come out. This works when the manufacturer has a new model that they want to get out and about on the roads, but don't want to be seen offering large cash discounts. They then get the car back at the end of the contract to chuck on the approved used scheme.
Also worth noting you have to make sure the car stays in pristine condition and you dont modify it.
