Anyone on here bought the new Bose 10 yet?

Would be interesting how this would match up to the zeppelin as with a built in woofer it seems to target that?

£700 for a scaled up sound dock? Thats about twice the price of the Zeppelin.

The cnet review mentions a figure of $600 in the US. That is £365 today and still a pisstake.

The zeppelin is a fantastic piece of kit - brilliant sound quality. Dont know how it compares to the bose in terms of sound quality - but it definately looks better.

Had a play with both of these in John Lewis today. IMHO I think the B&W is finally finished!

OMG that Bose 10 just sounded amazing! The B&W sounded full of treble and struggling when compared to the Bose 10! Yes it's £300 more and I'm not saying it's worth the difference but for those with the money to spend then it's definitely the Bose!

The sound from the Bose had awesome Bass and sounded perfect.
I've just ordered one via Bose direct using their 30 day free in home trial..I reckon this is worth doing to see how it sounds at home as John Lewis was an open area.

Irony of ironies... the missus has bought 'me' the Bose for Christmas. Classic example of partners buying presents for themselves. God knows I've done it often enough hehe

Bugger.

I agree...but it isn't a beauty contest! The Kanto sounds remarkably good, bearing in mind it is being driven by a "humble" iPod.

An ipod dock needs to look somewhat stylish, which that Kanto very much isn't. You may as well go a seperate amp and dock with 2 speakers either side. The Bose and B&W look and sound great. You could go for a zeppelin mini (£300) if budget is tighter.

Got the Zeppelin for Christmas, and the sound is brilliant. I can't fault it on its looks either. Perfect piece of kit IMO.
