First drive in today's mag.
Chris Harris, who I really rate, likes it a lot. Like a GT3 just a bit harder. Good to see that runner up in Car of the year too, should have won really
Really looking forward to getting my RS in Feb/Mar. I'm first at OPC London, can't decide on spec though

Thanks for ruining the results for those of us yet to receive the magazine.

I suspect the OP would have expected subscribers to have received their copies first. I used to subscribe to EVO and know thats not the case - pretty poor form really to be able to read it in the shop before it arrives.

It's alright, when you read the Ed Speak he always gives it away at the start anyways.

"Thanks for ruining the results for those of us yet to receive the magazine."
Have I missed something - what results? What exactly has been ruined? The fact that its in the magazine? The fact that its a great car? The fact that a journalist likes it?

Still coming to terms over the fact the 997.2 GT3RS beat the Lambo SV!

I do rate Chris Harris as a driver, but the way he does nothing but praise the Porsche products is a bit disconcerting. I read his article in Evo this month but it could easily have been an advertisement for the GT3RS. Last month he didn't get to drive the car but got a ride as a passenger. His conclusion was that the car should actually cost more- FFS!
Could the fact that he writes directly for Porsche in Christophorus(spelling?) magazine be making him reluctant to actually criticize the product?

All he said was that given the small numbers it will be produced in he was amazed that Porsche were only asing £100K for it. Given the fact tha a decently specced Frrai 458 will be around £90K more I can see his point.

However, I still find it astounding that in two articles on the car, the nearest he can come to stating that Porsche have got something wrong is to suggest they may have underpriced it. Also, he managed to confirm in the first article that the car doesn't tramline- From the passenger seat! Don't get me wrong. I would love to have the car. I'm sure it is very, very good. However, I do like to see some balance in the reporting. I've read three recent articles by Harris on Porsche. Two in Evo and one in Porsches own magazine/brochure. I can't tell the difference between them. pp

Did very well in both....(dem pesky Loti!!)

Just posted re the Mk2 RS seat thread, I am unsure exactly how to spec the car a lot more options than I had on my 996RS to choose from. Air con is a must I think no to expensive battery, not sure on axle lift, anyone have any thoughts or details on this one (weight penalty etc...)
