Dyno Day at Torque Developments - All Proceeds to Charity
Discussion
Hello,
We have resurected our charity dyno days again (after a short sabatical) which were quite popular, and would like to offer you TVR boys and girls the first available day.
It will be held on 12th December from 9am to 5pm at http://www.tdi-plc.com/index.php?pge=C_contactus
You will get a dyno run in our well ventiliated test cell on one of the most accurate chassis dyno's in the country. We will provide you with a power and torque graph, and full datalogging, and any advice if needed. You can see a little more at http://www.tdi-plc.com/index.php?pge=C_dynocam
There is no charge for our time or service on that day, but if you are minded to give a small donation which we will pass on to Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children; we will be very grateful.
We should be able to perform this service on 12 cars so please put your name down on this thread if you are interested.
Thanks for reading

What a great opportunity for the re-build guys to get an accurate at the wheel comparison done, come on chaps surely the chance to put all the speculation to bed and money for the kids as well.
I wouldn't want to embarrass you by putting mine up for a run again
but if a couple of FFF and str8six/Power engined cars went along I'd go to watch and even put my hand in my pocket just to see the outcome.

^This! I'd pay to see that happen too; would love to see the outcome, but given some of the comments on the rebuild threads none of the FFF owners seem too fussed about figures.Have to say, I'm intrigued to know what our's is putting out but would be gutted if it was anything lower than 340bhp!

Would be very interesting to see how different rebuild and upgrade solutions compare especially on TDI's dyno which i consider to be the most accurate one I've been on. However, I suspect there will be little interest from the rebuild guys and / or various excuses will be made which is what I think happened with the "rebuild comparison day" that someone was trying to organise on here a while back.I wouldn't want to embarrass you by putting mine up for a run again

2. lewis_sharman - Chim 400
3. wombat172a - wedge 350i
4. Jonesy - T350 with Str8six 4L RR
5. RM75 - 2001 Tuscan
6. D14AYS - Sagaris
7. dvs_dave - Tuscan S with Power rebuild
At this same day last year I got 340 at the wheels (400 at the fly). Would be interesting to see if 6k miles more has made any difference.
The TDI dyno is a hub type so the most accurate. It's an extremely well installed system in a properly designed enclosure with loads of ventilation.
