Mixed feelings yesterday afternoon as I changed my 355 to a 430. Sorry to see the 355 go and whoever buys it next will end up with a fantastic carfrown

But the 430 - WOW - so much faster and so much easier to drive (maybe it's too easy?!?!)

I will get some pics up when I get the chance but a big, big thanks to Tony at Foskers for facilitating the deal. Can't recommend those guys enough and if you are looking for a 355 then get in there quick 'cos I don't think you will find a better spec'd car than mine!!!

F430s a mighty car, congratulations. Although it sounds good, it could never sound any thing like the 355.
Any way, pictures?

Message received and I have emailed you back with info. Let me know if you need anything else but all I can really say is "get it bought" smile

Congratulations! How do you find it drives compared to a 355?

Well I want to buy one now! :-)
Celcius, would you be willing to consider a sale now?
To me the time of year wouldn't really affect the price that i was prepared to pay if that'w why you're all waiting till next spring!

Like I alluded to in the OP......my first impression is that it is a fantastic car - no doubt. But I do have a nagging suspicion that it is maybe too easy to drive and therefore lacks some charm/personality of the 355. Like I say this is a first impression and I'm sure it's own qualities will come through with time. In the meantime the pleasure of ownership is enough and I'm looking forward to getting to know the car better in the next few months and appreciating how it drives.

I would be interested in hearing other owners who made a similar switch from 355 up to 430 or Gallardo and whether jumping up two models (i.e missing out the 360) gave similar first impressions.

Pics soon...........I promise!

i went from 355 to 430 but via some other cars. In my case both f1. I would say the 430 drives more like a normal car but still feels special. The f1 box is a lot more tolerant than the earlier versions - having said that i liked the fact that the 355 would kangeroo if not driven more like a manual. 430 feels bigger and better built.
