..or pay £354+VAT for a brand one inc thrust bearing (that's for a 6 speed). I personally didn't have any joy with Helix- kept phoning them; but they would never phone back. Gave up in the end and brought a new one for not a lot more than re-conning the old one.

Clutch release bearing assy(includes slave cylinder) is a standard Ford Mondeo ST220 part.

The American build manual, they probably use a clutch with different shaped fingers so have to use a bigger dia flat edged bearing face not rounded like ours ?

I think it retails between around £150 ish .

Well it was going to be reconditioned, but when it was dismantled, it was found that many of the rivets had split the aluminium pressure plate, so i had a new billet pressure plate made with a 6 puck driven plate. About £350ish.

Prices from the factory:

5 speed - £145.00
6 speed - £199.00

I know the 6 speed is a modified AP Racing part, don't know about the 5 speed.

Same parts for UK and USA cars, i've recently sent a couple to Hoover.
