I could have sworn that was a kit car of some kind in the firsdt picture but i know its not.

Look at the rear left arch above the wheel, has it split?

That accident occurred over quite a distance. There's drive-by film of it on the link, and there's a lot of people attending to people in other cars. There's also a close-up of the Lambo, and yes, the rear wing seems to be broken and the car seems to be sitting on the ground. Very nasty.

I've seen plenty of Murci's with 'torn' rear arches after accidents at Lambo HW.

Isnt that part of the car carbon fibre?

Apparently it was in a race with a Veyron and a SLR before it hit a VW Golf and rammed it of the road.... The Golf driver suffered injuries to the head. (taken from the article)

If thats true the driver is in a whole world of trouble. The Swiss arent exactly known for their tollerance when it comes to speeding.

"But a far more serious incident involving a Lamborghini too place in Switzerland on Thursday last week.

The Murcielago – which is thought to have been driven by a 22-year-old Russian – was in convoy with a Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes McLaren SLR and Porsche Cayenne Turbo along Lake Geneva.

It was involved in a collision with a VW Golf, seriously injuring the Volkswagen’s 70-year-old driver.

The reported events have led Dmitry Rogozin, Moscow's ambassador to NATO to say "the first generation of 'new Russians' are behaving like complete prats"."
