Anybody help please?

I have changed the battery on my 2002 996 and for some reason when the new battery was connected it blew the fuses for the PCM on the fuse panel. The fuses have been replaced and the PCM now works. The codes have worked and the PCM fires up. The only problem is the radio does not work and the system says it can not see the cd changer or the cassette?

I know there is a seperate fuse on the back of the PCM unit - could it be this?

Any infomation appreciated..!

It did take them 30 mins as the PCM had to be stripped out. Plus they got me in within 15 minutes of a call so not all bad! Better than the chance of marking my leather and braking the cam connectors on the back of the unit. Plus I had had enough of playing with it in the cold..
