Handbrake warning LED and MIL LED not working
Discussion
As in the Title, during diagnostics I found that D7 on the circuit board is missing

I tried tracing the components on the circuit board and it would appear that I need it ?
Does anyone have their instrument panel in bits and could check for me
Also the MIL light does not come on when the ignition button is pressed (Engine not started), if I pull off one of the throttle pot plugs it doesn't come on.
Does the MIL light only come on when there is a fault and the engine is running ?
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
IIRC I didn't have a D7 on mine but the handbrake light still works, I'll check this evening. Firstly I'd check the switch on the handbrake mechanism under the leather surround in case its got stuck.
Also my MIL light wasn't working at all. I traced it to it being a little fuse on the board, you can see it just on the right hand side of your photo, might be worth putting a meter across it. When I got it working, it was annoying having it buzz away all the time when the ignition was on, so I cut the leg of the diode which fires the buzzer and now the MIL just comes on but without the buzzer sounding. Buzzer still works for everything else.
Rich.
