hi i was wonderin if anything connect on top of that gold thing my mechanics seem to think there is some sort of vacuum pipe connects to it please advice me

Yeah. But its more than likely another one is in use elswhere on the car and that is now defunct.

Ah, that is the financial suction valve. There should be a tube connected to it with the other end connected to your wallet. If you leave it unconnected, it just sucks money direct from your bank account.

Now that really explains a lot... thought I had a hole where my wallet use to be.... Since having my 4.5 I have being collecting points too, Like the air miles from shell but not sure what I get for these ones the nice man on the Police bike keeps giving me !!!!!!

My 4.5 has the same set -up....probably close it off following the above posts...hopefully help me with the cost output on the "winter work!" biggrin

Seriously thanks for asking the question...cos it does look wrong...as if it requires a pipe / bung or something..

It is the fuel pressure regulator, the pipe would connect to the intake manifold post throttle to adjust fuel pressure depending on manifold depression.

We don't need that on the Cerb so it purely functions as a plain old pressure regulator.
