Hi, Just started a new job and on the way to work I've noticed a garage that appears to be a Porsche specialist. Its on Accrington road in Burnley and the postcode for the area will be similar to BB11 5SX if anyone wants to look it up. Drove past this morning and saw what looked to be a 356 Speedster on the ramps inside and 2 classic 911's parked outside, one appeared to be a 2.7 RS (i could be mistaken) but certainly looked to be a replica or similar bodystyling. Anyone know any more about this place, I'm intrigued and google isnt bringing anything up? Certainly caught my eye anyhow.

Cheers

Adam

Thats why it took me by suprise, went passed again today but forgot the name of the garage, it was shut anyway but just looks like a regular back street garage. its right next to the vauxhall/Kia dealership in between Burnley and Rosegrove. Sure its something like A&J autos but I'l check tommorow and try and remember this time

I'm from Burnley and know the area that you refer to pretty well too. I have never seen or heard of a Porsche specialist there though. The only place that I know of in the local vicinity are Jasmine Motorsport in Nelson and Phoenix Motorsport in Accrington. Unless somebody can vouch for their reputation though I would much rather travel that bit further and use the likes of Mike at Sports & Classic or Hartech.

All the best,

Danny.

Did you stop for a chat? I don't know of any specialists in Burnley (Jasmine, Loe Bank, etc are close by) but would be interested in having a chat with them to see if they know their onions.

I've used Jasmine recently for fitting a couple of 18" tyres to loose wheels. The youngster that did the job took a great deal of care and I was very happy with the price charged. I've also had a rr forked arm replaced by them and the technician was careful and appeared knowledgeable. Again, friendly enough price too.

HTH.

Well a bit of an update on this one-still pleanty of cars knocking about here but a sign has now gone up on the workshop unit "reinCARnation" Google still isnt helping so it looks like its a new business doing either restorations (hopefully) or replicas.
