After 14 months of disagreement, my divorce is now final.
Now I can be 100% focused on my Engine, Chassis, Hot Rod business.
I still have my TT Ultima GTR, also got her LS6 powered 1968 Corvette (which is for sale)
Any idea what I could sell GTR for?
Don't really need to sell, just wondering?
BTW car is in the USA and fully street legal.
Thanks
Jeff Schwartz

It's only worth 100$ so you may as well keep it.
You know you want to.

It is only worth that, but as I won the lottery last night I'll take it off your hands for $110.

£65k ish?

Jeff your car is always only worth what someone wants to pay for it, but with its history and engine development Im sure you will get big bucks for it...

But don't sell it. You will regret it afterwards!!!!

What ever you do good luck

NO you've all got it wrong the Mans going though a Divorce !!.... So your corvette's must be worth maybe $10K and the Kit car about $5 Fibre glass cars aren't worth anything these days....
So your wife's share is about $7500.... sounds right to me..readit

idea Tell you what I give you $15,000 for the pair.... you could always buy them back for say $18,000 later....

'After 14 months of disagreement, my divorce is now final.'..

I think the haggling over money can go on for a long time after the divorce is final. Been there, done that.

That is unless it is different over the pond!

In the uk the divorce gets started but isn't finished until the money issues are sorted. If you finish the divorce to early then there's no incentive to sort out the money.

Jeff, over here in the UK, you and the car are somewhat legendary in the Ultima fraternity. Could the new buyer do it justice? I personally think the 65k price is way to low. If i had it at the spec and expense you have gone to id want some better returns than those mentioned.

Ive got too many friends with nasty stories. Each one of them, when the divorce proceedings started, couldnt believe how sweet and lovely the wifie was being about the whole thing. "Oh no Crafty, there's no need to be like that, its all going to be settled amicably in the next few weeks" ... then the transformation begins. Its always the friends and relatives that add the fuel.

I'm following the 100% guaranteed solution to avoiding divorce.... never get married.

Unfortunately in Australia, this is not a complete solution as co-habiting for more than 6 months can lead to a claim on your assets. You dont even have to have enduure that silly ceremony where you get all your friends and family around and say out loud that you will not shag anything else, and you will give her half of everything.... even without doing THAT, they can still claim 1/2.......Its a dark and sinister way to cheat you out of a bucks night. I have a friend in OZ that charges his girlfriend rent, and gives a receipt, just to be sure.

If on the other hand you are already married, I also have 100% guaranteed way to get a divorce......move to Asia with your wife. The good thing about Asia is that it is a land of abundance and there is none of the suffering that a scarcity mentality can bring.... i.e. "Maybe I should stay with her, getting laid once a year is better than not at all".

There's also none of these silly co-habiting laws over here. The only similar law that we have over here is that if a man gets very drunk and ends up in a girlie bar, he must (by law) co-habit for the evening with (at least) 2 girls.

I should be a marriage counsellor.......

I would say your car is worth very little. After all, who would by a modified Ultima with none factory parts? And as for the way the car has been driven! We've seen the videos! You can't hide the truth! Never raced or rallied! Yea right wink Poor thing has been thrashed all it's life.

Dam I'm to late then........ st...

But glad it's over for you now bud, but saying that it's more complicated when you have a Kid.... been 15 years so far for me and She's nearing 18 years old now, so I'm looking forward to the last year of Alimony payments soon for me.... but then there's her first car, College etc etc.... oh well like the sticker said on my old GTR "Built with my Children's Inheritance"

Nearly 18, you've got a while to go yet.

My oldest son from my first marriage is now 23 and I am still paying all the car bills for him and his accommodation costs at University. And all the car bills for his 21 year old brother too.

My daughters horse costs nearly as much as a car to run so hopefully I won't notice the difference when she needs a car, providing she sells the horse!

No wonder I have only just started building my Ultima.

I think that your car is priceless and you should keep it. It really is part of the history of this marque. What could you replace it with......nothing.

Enjoy seeing news of your shop on the internet, looking forward to the power tour.
