Been really good these....the LP670 SV seemed almost a bargain @ £270k considering it is nearly completely hand built.

Had the engine been cast at the factory like the Ferrari ones, i would agree.

I agree re the Lambo cost, Rolls one also made me think they were worth the cash and given the money I'd now buy one

There's been a Porsche one (997.2 GT3) and a Rolls Royce one (Silver Ghost) so not just VAG stuff

Oh and a Harley Davidson one too I seem to remember? (the new big-huge bike that I can't remember the name of, but doesn't look like a traditional Harley)

Thats stretching it a bit. It is largely hand ASSEMBLED. Either way, Id rather have a machine do it; why compromise with human error?

Well i have just watched it and i was very impressed indeed with the manufacture process of the R8. It was far far more impressive than the Porsche documentary. I never realised it was mostly all hand made. Yep impressive indeed.
