Scabs in my nose

Got some annoying scabs that are growing in my nose. Don't really know what caused them but managed to scratch one off in frustration and now its grown back even bigger.
I know the obvious thing is not to scratch or pick it but its irritating and I have had a couple of nose bleeds over the last couple of days just from sneezing.
As I don't remember doing anything to cause them, it is obviously a bit worrying.
Anybody else suffer from scabs in their nose? Makes my nose sore to touch on the outside and difficult to blow my nose as I normally would in the morning without unsettling them and therefore making them worse.

Strangely I have been getting exactly the same thing lately. First put it down to an allergy to something, as I was also getting lots of pimples too.
The zits have gone, but the scabs (tiny as they are) keep appearing every week or so.
I do however get cold sores when I am really run down, but am very careful not touch another other part of my face/body after applying treatment.

I had exactly the same thing about a month back. Really tempting to pick them off as my nose constantly felt blocked. Think I must have scratched the inside of my nose somehow.
