Audi A6 Avant 7 seat conversion
Discussion
Hi all. Having just purchased a 2003 A6 Avant 2.5TDI I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a specialist who could put a 3rd row of seats into the boot area? I know that it is possible to fit extra seats but haven't had any luck in finding someone to retro-fit them. Many thanks
This is a massive job, I looked into it when I had my A6 a few years ago, and even then with the car worth £18k at the time I decided it was cheaper to sell it and buy another with them already fitted.
One of the Audi forums has a how to, and it is not an easy job, the amount of things that need changing is not small.

Zombie thread alert! I used the resource on the link attached to this thread as the basis for my 7 seat conversion, I completed it for the princely sum of £zero as I bought a job lot of parts that included the folding bench seat, then sold the rest of the bits, then found a 1998 A6 breaking and had another set of seats, the mounting frame, C pilar trims, seat belts, boot floor trim and carpet.
I guess there aren't too many Bi-turbo All roads with the seven seat option, probably quite an expensive addition when new.
