Win A 370Z For A GT1-tastic Weekend!

The brand new FIA GT1 World Championship arrives at Silverstone for the first time next weekend, and you could be there too - at the wheel of a shiny new Nissan 370Z

You may have noticed we've been enjoying our own new 370Z for the last couple of weeks. It's a terrific car, and there's often a scrabble for the keys at the end of the day.

But here at PH, we like to share the love - and so it seems does Nissan. At least we think they do, because when we asked if they'd loan another 370Z to a lucky PHer for the GT1 weekend, they said yes!

The deal is this. Our lucky winner will get a new 370Z delivered to their home on Friday 30^th April with a full tank of petrol, to be collected again on Tuesday 4^th May once you've siphoned... er, finished with it.

You will then drive it to Silverstone for the FIA GT1 World Championship on Sunday 2^nd May, where you and one companion of your choice will be 'VIP' guests of Nissan for what could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get behind the scenes to see how a 'day at the races' really works.

You'll join Nissan in the pit garage before the race, to keep tabs on the progress of the four GT-Rs they are campaigning, and then you can relax in grandstand seats to witness the first British round of a sportscar World Championship for nearly 20 years. That means you'll be watching the GT-Rs race against Maserati MC12s, Lamborghini Murcielagos, Ford GTs, Aston Martin DBR9s and Chevrolet Corvettes.

After you have enjoyed the car and the racing we would like you to write a few words for a PH article on our homepage - so you'll even be famous for a day as well!

Fancy your chances? Then you've got to move fast...

Simply send us an e-mail (with 370Z in the subject line) to [e-mail] and make sure your provide all of the following:

• Your name and address
• Your age (25 minimum for insurance purposes)
• Your current car
• A short paragraph (60words max) on why you think you should be chosen to join Nissan at Silverstone in one of their 370Z cars.

The competition closes at 10.00am on Monday 26^th April and winners will be notified by 17.00 on Wednesday 28^th April. Entries will be judged by a panel comprising Nissan, and members of the PH editorial team.

Terms and Conditions: All entrants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes. You must be available to take delivery of the car on Friday 30^th April 9 (any UK destination) and be available to meet the collecting driver on Tuesday 4^th May. Competition is only open to those who are resident in the UK. There are no other prizes available. You must attend the race meeting at Silverstone on Sunday 2^nd May. The car will be delivered with a full tank of fuel, all other fuel will be at the expense of the winner.

Damn, I'm treating my son and two grandsons (aged 4 & 7), all of whom are motor racing nuts, to the event so we can't all get in the car and we will not all get the associated VIP package, so I'll have to miss this one....or should I enter, win, and turn the prize down, I wonder?

watch the nissan's in gt1 may be a great prize but whether that's going to happen is up in the air isn't it.

they're thinking of calling the race off because gt1's are still in abu dabi because of the volcano

and nissan have said they will boycott the race any way, because of unfair "equalisation" and their car being 30kg to heavy.

still would be great to have the 370z for the weekend
