My car's in for an MoT today so I get the pleasure of driving the wife's 1.2 Clio. Could someone let me know what the code should be for this radio? (Took this weeks ago but she clearly hasn't done anything about it)! Thanks.

I think my radio code is on a printed sticker inside the user manual or service log book, have you looked in there? From what I remember it wasn't a default code, eg 0000.
Of course some Renault technician might be able to find it for you.

That was what I expected too, but I'm assured she checked thoroughly and tried 0000, 1111, 9999, 1234, etc. I think I might just double check before I leave tonight!

When I bought a stereo without the code I just used someone on eBay. Emailed them the Serial number and they send the code within 5 minutes. Think it cost around £2.50 and I used these people http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/irc-ukIf you get the code wrong too many times it will lock the stereo so stop guessing!
